Emily N. Estell is an educator, musician, and community advocate whose work sits at the intersection of culture, belonging, and the arts. Based in Kansas City, Emily has dedicated her career to creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive. Her experience in education and community engagement reflects a deep commitment to building inclusive environments that foster connection and meaningful change.
As a music educator with the Lee's Summit R-7 School District, Emily works with diverse student populations, using the arts to cultivate creativity, confidence, and a sense of community. Beyond the classroom, she serves as a Dignity Facilitator and Culture Team Facilitator, leading conversations on belonging, equity, and organizational culture while helping schools align their values with their everyday practices.
Emily brings both strategic insight and a collaborative spirit to her work. She has directed the New Music Teacher Cadre, guided culture initiatives during periods of transition, and used data-informed approaches to strengthen institutional health and student belonging.
