Kaanchan Adhikary (Consultant, IT Support)

Is an experienced, project coordinator/manager, solutions architect, and product developer. Driven by the challenge to find maintainable processes and harmonious interactions, he takes pride in providing solutions which take all contributors’ skills and strengths into fold. As a Project Manager, his goals include creating well-documented and researched project plans, maximum team involvement, and regular, transparent communication. In addition to his primary job functions, Kaanchan has been recognized by Bihar School of Yoga (India), Yoga Academy of North America (USA), Mangrove Yoga Academy (Australia) for his extraordinary commitment to evolving the technology platforms which extends educational resources for global access.

Kaanchan’s passion for tackling global, multi-lingual, interdisciplinary, tiered social-technology projects can be traced back to 2000, where he spent significant time volunteering for a variety of organizations working for social upliftment and education. As a solutions architect and consultant, he specializes in recognizing and bringing to attention the subtler underlying factors that may be keeping a team, initiative, or idea from manifesting. 

Kaanchan has worked in the technology and education industry for over 15 years years, gaining experience in corporate environments (IBM), mid-size companies (MGAM), start-ups (WhisperWire), private entities, and a number of educational non-profits. As a seasoned Project Manager, he is passionate about advancing systematic problem-solving and task tracking. In addition to IT consulting and project management, he is also involved as a board member for the Yoga Academy of North America. Outside of the office, Kaanchan enjoys teaching martial arts, creating health plans for individuals based on yogic lifestyle, and motivating youth to actualize their goals. 

A pioneer in the digital accessibility space, Kaanchan is the lead IT Consultant at Design Arts Seminars. Before this role, he was head of the Computer Department at Bihar School of Yoga where he initiated and completed a number of novel projects in rural India.
