Our guest, Everton Blair, Jr. -- is the first person of color, the youngest-ever, and the first openly gay member elected to serve on Gwinnett County Board of Education in Georgia. He has served as a fellow in President Obama's White House Initiative on Educational Excellence. Currently he is a doctoral student in education leadership (EdLD) at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
